How can I purchase my military service?

To purchase your military service, you must fill out the veteran application and pass it in along with your DD214 indicating your honorable discharge. We will review it and send you a letter regarding how much time you are eligible to purchase and the price of each of those years. You can be eligible to purchase up to 4 years of military service, but you can determine how many of those four years you would like to purchase. Your service must be purchased in a lump sum. We accept all checks as payment, but no payment plans are available. You have until the date of your 11th year to make this purchase. Exemptions: Members who served in the National Guard or Reserves, who qualify as a veteran, may purchase creditable service at a ratio of 5 years of Guard or Reserve service to 1 year of creditable service.
